Terms and Conditions

It is the responsibility of the person hiring the Bouncy Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable.

Therefore please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:

  1. A responsible Adult must supervise the Bouncy Castle at all times.

  2. Please ensure no-one over the age specified (dependent on castle hired) uses the equipment.

  3. Strictly No adults are to use a Bounce Factory Castle

  4. Do not allow children to jump on the Front Step/Apron. This is designed to access the main body of the castle and can result in injury if used incorrectly.

  5. Our castles are all 12ft x 15ft. Therefore we will need a grassed area of approximately 14ft x 17ft to safely secure the castle. We also require a passageway of approximately 3ft wide to deliver your castle and the grass area needs to be reasonably flat and clear of ALL objects including garden toys or furniture.

  6. Any child misbehaving is to be removed from the castle to prevent injury to others.

  7. No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle, which will avoid choking and mess. (Please note if the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it may incur a cleaning charge).

  8. No water fights are to happen near the castle or the blower.

  9. The RCD circuit breaker provided by Bounce Factory must be used at ALL times. You must be able to provide power within 20ft of the rear of the castle.

  10. In the interests of safety it is imperative that we drive stakes into the ground to secure the castle. Our stakes will penetrate to a depth of approx 300mm so there should be no problem with us damaging underground pipes or cables because they are supposed to be deeper than this. If we do inadvertently cause damage to underground services we cannot be held responsible for the repair costs.

  11. Occasionally check that the castle is still securely pegged down.

  12. We do not hire our castles out on concrete, shingle, rocks, stones or dog mess!

  13. Dogs, cats or any other animals are not allowed on the castle, they should also be kept under control around the castle where for example an excited dog may bite it because of the movement.

  14. No toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle.

  15. No silly string, party poppers or face paints are to be taken onto the castle, they contain a dye which can cause permanent stains.

  16. No smoking or barbeques are to be near the Bouncy Castle.

  17. Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is dangerous and must not be allowed.

  18. All of our castles are designed for children from 2yrs old to 11yrs old. Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of children using it. Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time. It is recommended to have a maximum of 6 children at any one time.

  19. All shoes, glasses, jewellery and badges must be removed before using the Bouncy Castle.

  20. Always ensure that children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

  21. If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.

  22. Never switch the blower on and off while the castle is in use, doing so is dangerous and can also cause the blower to overheat.

  23. Children are to prevented from jumping on the front step as they could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist children in getting on or off!

  24. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle as indeed any child who is feeling unwell.

  25. Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation as this is dangerous.

  26. Please ensure that children are not attempting somersaults, are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.

  27. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any minor wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

  28. If the castle is dirty or damaged when collected or has been stolen the hirer will be liable for the full repair, replacement or cleaning cost. This also applies to ancillary items such as blowers RCD’s, extension leads etc.

  29. The fan which keeps the castle inflated is a demanding electrical appliance, we cannot be held responsible for inadequacies in your power supply which cause it to overheat and subsequently cut-out.

  30. If weather conditions are unpredictable on the day of your booking, we will telephone you that morning and confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the booking, or cancel and rearrange for a future date, at no additional cost.

We hope you have a thoroughly enjoyable day with our castle and have introduced these terms and conditions for the safety of your children!!!
